Winter at the Cafe

An Artic Fox Girl enjoying a hot cup of coffee at her favorite cafe.

This was a fun sketch to make. Originally, the idea was going to be draw a scene of snow in the park, but I was growing tired of the cold weather. I decided to draw a coffee shop/cafe scene with a warm and cozy vibe.

For this sketch, I focused on creating a relaxing scene with the character sitting with her cup of coffee. To stick to a winter theme, I decided to have snow falling outside the window, and based the character’s design off an Artic Fox.

Overall, I really love how this sketch turned out.

Spring Nymph

A friendly spirit of spring!🦌⚘

For this sketch, I tried to come up with different characteristics of spring to make up this design. So, I chose a deer, flowers, and wind chimes.

Overall, think this drawing turned out pretty cool.

Samurai Jack is Back

A fanart sketch of the wandering samurai in a dystopian future, seeking a way back to the past to undue the future of the evil shape shifting master of darkness, Aku.

Samurai Jack is one of my favorite shows from my childhood. It was one of the many shows that got me hooked on drawing and sketching. The art style had this mixture of action and beauty. Some scenes had this comic book like appearance with huge battles and combat. Then other scenes would be toned down to allow for more emotion, letting you take in the scenery.

So when I heard Jack was back, I decided to sketch something up. This sketch was inspired by Jack’s new look. It has been several years since Jack was flung into thw future by the evil Aku. He looks like he’s been through hell. He’s covered  in scars and rags from numerous battles. He’s ready to end Aku’s tyranny, so he can finally rest and return to his homeland in the past.

Samurai Jack belongs Genndy Tartakovsky and Cartoon Network/Toonami

The Lumi Lox

Meet the Lumi Lox, a bioluminescent dog like animal found on RealmLocke. These cute little creatures light up to ward off many of the beasts roaming in the dark. Their tails resemble a bright, shimmering torch. They emit a bright white light when in danger, disorienting any enemies to make a quick eacape. Loxes are non hostile and are known for being friendly, behaving very similar to dogs. In fact, many Lumi Loxes are kept as pets and travel companions.
Lumi Loxes are about the size of a corgi and are apart of a species called Lumis. The largest Lumi is known to be the size of a large wolf. They are called Luminox Wolves. The Luminox is stronger, but does not constantly emit light like Loxes. They instead emit powerful flash to blind and flank any enemy.

Caroline ‘ s Mistletoe Dress

Caroline is one of my old original characters. She’s a tan fox with a love of fancy and elegant fashion.

In this sketch, she’s wearing a holiday inspired dress, decorated with Mistletoe accessories.

In the Whisper of Winter

In the Whisper of Winter

A Kirin, an eastern style unicorn, dressed in a winter cloak, walking about the snow covered floor of an old forest.

Goodbye autumn, and welcome Winter. I made this sketch a while back as a farewell to autumn. I focused on drawing something with a sense of elegance and peace. The character in this drawing is based off another Kirin I drew a while back.

Awaken Spring (a Kirin in awe of the first blooms of spring)

The dress in the winter sketch has been redesigned to be longer to be more suitable for the cold and snow. Also, the character is more deer like than the spring sketch (she has hooves instead of paws).

I plan to come back to this sketch and  color it. I’ll post it here when it’s done.

Regal Autumn Ball Sketch

Two elegantly dressed Canines enjoying a lovely evening of dancing about an autumn decorated ballroom.

For this sketch I wanted to draw something that had a fall theme; something fitting for thanksgiving since it’s coming up soon. So, what came to my mind was a couple doing an old fashion dance in a ballroom. I focused on an old colonial theme for the outfits, and added bits of fall theme decor to the background.

Overall, I think this sketch turned out nicely. I’m planing on coloring it later on for this thanksgiving.
