Vinnessa Burning Bloom Mode

Another Sketch of Vinnessa the Sun Vixen, a character from my story Vulpe of Flames. I changed her outfit to have more of a modern flair.

This sketch shows off her power unleashed form she calls Burning Bloom. This form unleashes extremely powerful weaves of magical energy in the form of Fox’Fire. She casts light based attacks that can incinerate and putify dark based elements. Her spells are amplified in this form, as well as her speed and power. The energy is so immense that it causes her hair and fur to flair up like flames.

The downfall to this form is the strain it puts on her body. If she tries to maintain this form for too long, she’ll eventually lose control or pass out. The longest she can stay in this form is up to 8 minutes.

Zio the White Wolf of Legend (sketch)

Zio was the original hero who faced the dark goddess, Nothica, years ago. In RealmLocke he is known as the White Wolf of Legend, an icon among the canine hybrids, especially the wolves. Within the capital city of Luneman City,   is the garden called White Moon.  A statue depicting Zio in humanoid form standing next to his feral wolf form can be found here. The canines claim that this garden is where Zio was granted the power of the Moon Caster gauntlet from the Wolf Goddess.

Zio has the ability to summon pure energy in the form of light called Judgement Light. This light burns those who are followers of darkness. It can also banish dark souls. Zio can manipulate the light around almost any object and turn it into a tool of light; such as enchanting a sword or transforming his gauntlet into a blade.

Nothica the Trickster

The beautiful and elegant Vixen, Nothica, is well known for her magnetic and flirty personality. It’s like there’s an aura about her that draws people in like a moth to a flame.

Don’t let this Crimson Vixen fool you. She’s a demon in disguise; a Trickster. She conceals her true form behind beauty. Her true form is an ugly succubus from the Crimson Void; a mirror image of the Goddess that dominates that dimension. She must constantly feed on emotions and souls to maintain her beauty.

Nothica seeks out the most extreme emotions, such as lust. She seduces all men to drain their lust. She uses their desires to fool them, disguising herself as what they truly want.  Once they are tapped out of lust or no longer under her influence, she disposes of them by stealing their soul.

The Shadows of Crimson: Creatures of the Dark

In RealmLocke, especially on the mainlands, there are creatures that lurk about the shadows, attacking out of nowhere and leaving no trace. These are the Shadows of the Crimson, nasty creatures with an appetite for fear and souls.

Shadows have a variety of forms from the Crawler (a swarm creature that relentlessly overwhelms targets) to the Colossus (giants that block out sunlight for advancing shadows or they open rifts). The most well known and feared are the Stalkers.

Stalkers look like a starved creature, whose bones are protruding through its quill covered body. They look like a humanoid rat with long quill covered ears (Almost rabbit like, but they look more like horns). Their eyes are large and red, no iris or pupil, or whites. They have no mouth. Their claws are long and thin like knives, and they tend to run on all fours. They feast upon fears and souls, harvesting them for their Queen, Nothica (she uses fear and souls to stabilize her beauty)

Stalkers hide in the shadows, following around potential victims. They remain unseen until they strike. They emit an aura that induces fear in their victims. They seek to reap the fear, and try to push victims to the brink of breaking down in terror. Once the victim is too terrified, Stalkers unleash a wave of energy that causes everything around them to freeze. This is how they are able to attack without leaving any evidence. Then they pounce on the victim, staring them down with their strange eyes. They draw the fear out of the victim into an essence form, and then disappear. The victim will have no memory of the event. (So how do people know of their existence? Simple…not everyone is forgets the attack. Some can withstand the aura, or some witnesses are able to see the Stalkers.)

If a Stalker is revealed, it will become hostile, attacking who ever saw them. Swarms of Stalkers will join in to extinguish the witness. They will pin the witness down, and harvest their soul.

Stalkers and other Shadows (aside from the Colossus) only have one weakness, Sunlight or Moonlight. They take damage from normal weapons, but unless they are hit by Sunlight or Moonlight, they will regenerate. The light seems to burn them, preventing them from using their powers or regenerating. Once hit with light, they must be destroyed before they dive into the shadows to heal.

Sun Flares and Light enchanted weapons are the best course of action when dealing with Shadows. Their eyes are their weakest points and are easy to blind. If you don’t blind them or avoid their eyes, they will paralyze you. Be quick, stay in the light, and avoid their eyes and stay out of the shadows

Sun Vixen

Vinnessa is a young sun Vixthra (vixen in Foxthra tongue) with the power of Sun Fox’Fire. The flames can manipulate plants, as well as alter her appearance or cast illusions. Foxthra and Vixthra like her are shunned by the other Canines in RealmLocke. The Wolves accuse the Foxthra of being witches or dark sorcerers, ever since one Vixthra was possessed by the Crimson Darkness that nearly engulfed the light of the world.

Foxthra are born with the ability of Fox’Fire. It allows them to alter their forms or manipulate the thoughts of others. Foxthra utilize this skill to hid from those who would accuse them.
Vinnessa loves to practicing illusion magic, disguising herself as other creatures like wolves, lions, and sometimes humans. Fox’Fire illusions are fairly strong and uncannily convincing. The only drawback is the fact that Fox’Fire cannot disguise reflections or shadows. This tends to get this young Vixthra in trouble. She’s constently being chased out of villages, because she gives away her illusion, one way or another.

Vinnessa just wants to see the world and loves to learn about other cultures. She hopes to one day to be free of the witch stigma and be free to venture the world.

Sunlight and Starlight

Vinnessa and her familiar, Fire’Fly, both have the ability to use Fox’Fire. Vinnessa’s Fire ability is sunlight, a concentrated form of Fox’Fire that has a purifying or negating effect on darkness or other Fox’Fire spells. Fire’Fly uses starlight which burns the brightest in the dark. It wards off evil and dark spirits. When their powers combine, it creates a banishment spell that annihilates or seals away darkness. This is perfect for keeping the Crimson Goddess, Nothica, from getting her claws on their Fox’Fire Essence.

I did a little modification to Fire’Fly.  I wanted her to look more fairy like.

MoonRise! Light of Justice!

One of Ziik’s signature moves with Lunar Gauntlet. He rushes his target, striking them with a powerful thrust. The glowing light emitted from the gauntlet purifies the target by absorbing the darkness, and banishing it to the Void of Noth.

This move gives Ziik a major boost of speed and is a powerful finisher. The only downfall is its accuracy. Ziik has to hit the target precisely, or the finisher will not work.
